Community Work Parties
We can help you organize neighbors to tackle big projects!
If your neighborhood needs large fuel-reduction projects and you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the work involved, we can help!
Fuel-reduction efforts can be along a main roadway or a one-way ingress/egress road, or in a shaded fuel break or communal area.
We can help organize your Community Work Party with:
Permit and Land Owner Agreement (LOA) Assistance: We can help acquire any necessary permits and permission forms for fuel-reduction activity along public roadways and private property.
Help and Expertise: Depending on availability, up to four of our fully trained crew members can assist with fuel-reduction work and plant ID and knowledge during your work party. Our certified crew is also trained to handle flagging duties, especially on curves or other hazardous stretches of road, ensuring safety during the work.
Promotion Support: Let us help you spread the word! Whether it's designing posters, crafting engaging Facebook posts, or drafting recruitment letters, we can provide the materials and guidance to attract volunteers to your cause.
Schedule Coordination: Choose a convenient day and time for your neighborhood and our crew, and clearly identify the section of road requiring maintenance. We'll work together to find the perfect timeframe and location for your Community Work Party.
Equipment, Resources, and Food: If needed, we can help supply tools and supplies, possibly even a chipper; or we can schedule a Community Chipper Day after the event to process the brush piles. We can also provide beverages and snacks to keep volunteers fueled throughout the day.
